Other initiatives of the Davenport Volunteer Connection include an Emergency Response Volunteer Program and partnerships with community groups to promote national days of service and conduct volunteer management training sessions.

The Davenport Volunteer Connection is a program of the City of Davenport, a partner of the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Services, and is affiliated with the Volunteer Centers of Iowa network.
