School Resource Guide

Welcome to the Iowa Hunger Directory School Resource Guide! This online tool is a collaboration between the World Food Prize Iowa Hunger Directory and the Iowa Youth Institute. We created this online resource to:

  • Provide educators with hands-on learning opportunities that also meet curriculum standards
  • Share tips and advice from other educators who have implemented food security projects in their own classroom
  • Connect educators with non-profit leaders who are working to address hunger needs in their community

Each project below outlines a specific initiative that you can immediately use for your classroom, 4H club, or FFA chapter. Learning outcomes from these projects can apply to standards in:

STEM   |   Agriculture   |   Social / Civics Studies   |   Speech / Debate   |   Business / Economics
