Description: The Global Health Programs at Des Moines University provide students, faculty, alumni, and others an opportunity to gain real-world experience in international medicine. Des Moines University's international experiences provide a breadth of cultural, social, political, and clinical experiences that are not available within the United States. Through its partnerships with the Heartland Global Health Consortium, the Global Health Programs hosts an annual global health conference for students, professors, and others in central Iowa to engage with health on an international level.
