"Speak Our Language": Ways Public Institutions Are Building Trust with Civil Society to Improve Nutrition

SUMMARY
Public institutions deliver many services essential to ensure nutrition and food security. The purpose of this panel is to discuss ways institutions can build trust with civil society and better engage diverse and equitable participation in policy-making processes to achieve greater impact and improve nutrition and food security for all.


ACTION ITEMS
As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to define systems change; describe the roles of civil society in (re)building trust in public institutions, specifically those involved with nutrition and food security initiatives; and design strategies to increase civic participation with and within public institutions.
