Special Announcement: Introducing Madeline and Crystal

Good Afternoon,

My name is Madeline Goebel and I am thrilled to be the incoming coordinator of the Iowa Hunger Directory and to meeting you and sharing your stories.

I am joining the World Food Prize Foundation as a Program Manager, where my duties include leading the Iowa Hunger Directory and supporting the Director of the Iowa Hunger Summit, Crystal Harris.

Prior to this position I gained proficiencies in the fields of Public Relations and Public Affairs at a leading communications firm here in Des Moines. I also served as a George Washington Carver Intern at the World Food Prize in early 2015 and spent eight months in France and Cameroon where my studies focused on social pluralism and development, while conducting independent research on family farming initiatives.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a minor in Economics and a certificate in French from Drake University.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at any time at mgoebel@worldfoodprize.org or 651-395-1820 or to Crystal at charris@worldfoodprize.org or 515-245-3731.

We're excited to work with you!
