Description: The Salvation Army of Waterloo / Cedar Falls provides holistic ministry designed to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the people they serve. Their ministries include a Feeding Program, The Family Activity Center, Comprehensive Assistance, a Men's Emergency Shelter, a Women's Emergency Shelter, and a Family Shelter. They provide a free noon meal 11:30 to 12:30 Monday thru Friday unless it is a government holiday They also operate a Thrift Store at 415 East 7th Street in Waterloo. How to Help: Iowans can contribute to the mission of the Salvation Army of Waterloo / Cedar Falls through financial donations, by volunteering at one of their ministries, or by helping their Thrift Store. Individuals and groups who are interested in volunteering at a Salvation Army ministry are encouraged to call 319-235-9358.
