Students and educators at Maquoketa High School work to alleviate hunger through educational and service-learning projects.

For example, high school and middle school students and teachers worked together to host a school-wide World Hunger Service Day at Maquoketa Middle School in 2013 and 2014. The students packaged 3750 meals to help alleviate hunger through Kids vs. Hunger.
