Summary
Iowa State University's Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods impacts school feeding for over 3000 children in elementary schools in Kamuli, Uganda through a school garden program.  The program has operated continuously since 2006 and school gardens serve as an outdoor learning laboratory and provide inputs into the school lunch program.  Best practices and lessons learned through activities by bi-national teams of university students from Iowa State and Makerere University in Uganda will be shared.
