Zach Schmidt

Deputy Director of Organizing and Faith Engagement, Bread for the World

Zach Schmidt is deputy director of organizing and faith engagement with Bread for the World, a Christian advocacy organization urging U.S. decision makers to do all they can to pursue a world without hunger. Based in Crystal Lake, Illinois, Zach is responsible for identifying, training and equipping leaders, churches and campus groups in the Midwest to actively engage in advocacy. Zach studied Bible and theology at Bethel University (St. Paul, MN) and Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, CA). He loves being a husband and father of seven children, and in (rare) quiet moments, he enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
