Table to Table
Table to Table vital connections between abundance and hunger in Johnson County. We do it by transporting wholesome food that would otherwise go to waste to community agencies who feed those in need. Table to Table distributes 2.5 million pounds of donated food and serves 19,000 people annually through their extensive community partnerships.
Table to Table efficiently keeps food out of the waste stream, minimizes food insecurity for individuals and families, and mitigates the cost of providing nutritious food for 50 social service agencies in Johnson County. In addition to their distribution efforts, Table to Table supports food rescue initiatives across the Midwest, sharing their unique volunteer and route-based food rescue model.
How to Help:
Table to Table is always welcoming more people to our volunteer team. Become one of our next food rescue volunteers and help collect food from donors and distribute it to agencies that serve the hungry, homeless, and at-risk populations.
