"Shower" the Crisis Center with Baby Products

04/01/2015 - 04/30/2015
Iowa City Area
Ms. Sarah Witry

Did you know a full third of people in households served by food assistance programs at The Crisis Center of Johnson County are children? They need the community's help to stock their shelves with necessities for babies - formula, diapers, food, and wipes - which are often not available when requested. These products are only available to families in need when they are donated.

How to pitch in
Helping "Shower The Crisis Center" can be an easy project: Clean out your nursery and donate any unopened or partial packages of diapers, pick up a canister of baby formula or jars of baby food next time you are shopping, or host a baby products drive in your neighborhood, at work or at your church this month.

Check out their helpful how-to guide for hosting a baby products drive. You can also print and display this promotional flyer.
