Organizations Fighting Hunger

Description:

The Justice League of Food makes and delivers over 2,100 meals per month as part of Hunger Free Polk County. We also train at-risk individuals, coming out of homelessness and other situations, in culinary and life skills through the JLF's Culinary Job Training Program. Finally we put on events that directly feed the hungry, such as free Thanksgiving meals, Pop Up Pantry, etc. and hold fundraising events

How to Help:

Donating treasure, talent or time, sending an at-rick person to the JLF, attending one of our fundraising events (especially Culinary Superhero Dinner Series), hiring the JLF to cater your next event and eating at The Hall whenever you can because 100% of those food proceeds goes to support the JLF
