Description: Hope Ministries provides food, clothing, shelter and long-term life recovery programs for individuals and families who are homeless, hungry, abused or addicted. They serve men, women and children in need at the following Des Moines locations: Bethel Mission - men's homeless shelter Door of Faith - men's long-term life recovery center Hope Center for Women and Children - short-term shelter and long-term life recovery for single women and moms with kids Hope Café - community dining hall serving three free meals every day Hope Ministries Thrift - two thrift stores and donation centers Learn more about these facilities and Hope Ministries' comprehensive services for hurting men, women and children at hopeiowa.org. How to Help: Individuals, families, and groups can contribute to the mission of Hope Ministries through financial and in-kind donations, by joining the Hope Prayer Team, and by volunteering. Hope Ministries has volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups, and for those who wish to prepare meals for distribution through their Meals for Hope program.
