Their activities include: the Story County 4-H Program to empower youth to reach their full potential working and learning in partnership with caring adults, Community and Economic Development Workshops conducted with community organizations, individuals and leaders to help develop and implement plans for physical and social community improvements, a Food Security Program which works to ensure the long term profitability of Iowa agricultural producers and increasing production capacity of the agricultural sector while protecting natural resources, and Food Safety and Nutrition Courses which help people in Story County to access and eat safe, nutritious, and healthy foods.
