Description:

Food Fellows is a grant-funded student cohort at The Ohio State University that trains interdisciplinary students about food-related issues, such as food policy, nutrition, agriculture, and food insecurity, through research and service with various community agencies. The aim is to mobilize students to take action against hunger in their community. The students work with agencies, such as the Mid-Ohio Foodbank and the Children's Hunger Alliance, conducting service and research to eliminate hunger in the United States.

How to Help:

As a student cohort, Food Fellows aims to train students to become change agents in their community. The Food Fellows model can be adopted at other universities in order to mobilize students to change the current health and hunger situation in their area. People wishing to become involved should contact them directly to find out more about their model.
