Description: Elder Services, a program of Horizons, serves senior clients though programs that maintain their health and wellness. Meals on Wheels delivers hot midday meals in Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty. Senior Dining offers a hot, nutritious noon meal at the Iowa City Senior Center, and rural meals provides bi-weekly home delivery of frozen meals, breakfast bags, and liquid supplements to seniors outside of Iowa City/ Coralville area. Other Johnson County services provided by Elder Services/Horizons include Information and Referral Services, Caregiver Counseling, Representative Payee Services, Financial Counseling, Money Management and the Survivor's Program. How to Help: Elder Services is always looking for friendly volunteers to help with meal delivery Monday through Friday.
