Owner, Early Morning Harvest

Jeff Hafner has been farming all his life growing organic grains for over 25 years. For nearly 15 years he has been stone-grinding grains on his farm and producing vegetables in aquaponic, hydroponic and seasonal greenhouses and gardens. Most recently he acquired a distribution business creating a vertically integrated system to support customer demand for farm fresh products and support local entrepreneurs and farmers growing their businesses. His experience as a farmer, grower, miller and distributor fuels his desire to learn more about sustainability and the interconnectedness of all aspects from farm to table. It also exposed to him the holes in food availability and distribution to multiple populations of not only food but healthy, quality food that is grown and processed locally and sustainably.
