Paige Chickering

Iowa State Manager, Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) and Board Member, Iowa Hunger Coalition

At SCAN Paige uses her background in policy, research and campaigns to support policy change that improves the lives of children and families in Iowa. SCAN’s focus on childhood food insecurity and early learning aims to give kids a strong start in life so they can succeed and thrive.

Paige graduated from American University's School of International Service with honors in 2022 where she studied international affairs and minored in Arabic language. She has a strong policy background from working on Capitol Hill, for the World Affairs Councils of America and the Council on Foreign Relations. She also has experience working on state and local campaigns as a Campaign Fellow with American University College Democrats.

Paige believes that investing in kids is the best investment we can make for the future of our state, our country and our world. Her goal is to leverage her experience to help passionate advocates successfully impact policy to serve and uplift the most vulnerable members of our communities.
