Greta Lee

STEM Committee Member, State of Iowa Youth Advisory Council

Greta Lee serves as a member of the State of Iowa Youth Advisory Council (SIYAC) serving on the STEM Committee where she helped create a "Food Waste and Recycling" guide for schools to help avert food waste to help feed children. Greta also had the opportunity to attend the World Food Prize Global Youth Institute where she presented research on spirulina cultivation as a way to help feed communities in Haiti. Outside of these projects she enjoys volunteering at the local food pantry and donating fresh produce from her garden to families who need it.
