Outreach Coordinator, USDA-NRCS

Andrew Thomason is the Outreach Coordinator as part of the Partnerships division for USDA-NRCS in Iowa. Andrew began his NRCS career in 2020 as a Public Affairs Specialist in Huron, South Dakota, writing and photographing NRCS' successes and sharing program and other information with the public. After over 4 years with South Dakota NRCS, Andrew transitioned to the Outreach Coordinator position in Des Moines, Iowa, with Iowa NRCS. As Outreach Coordinator, Andrew conducts targeted outreach to ensure that everyone is aware of NRCS financial and technical assistance and their benefits and works with partners to reach the various communities around Iowa.
