Chris Purdue

Customer Business Manager, Hormel Foods

As Customer Business Manager for the North Central District, Chris Purdue is responsible driving growth with Hy-Vee on all Hormel Branded Products.  Purdue began his career with Hormel Foods in 2009 as a Production Supervisor in Fremont, NE. After several years in Operations, he transferred to the Supply Chain team at Hormel’s World Headquarters.  In 2012, Purdue transitioned to a career in sales holding multiple Front Line & Analytics sales positions in Dallas, TX.  After several years in TX, he relocated to Orlando, FL to take on a Management role in Sales Strategy.  In 2018, Purdue moved to Des Moines, IA and assumed his current role helping drive six consecutive years of record sales with Hy-Vee.
