Jacob Wanderscheid

Executive Director, Food Bank of Siouxland

Jacob has served as the Executive Director of the Food Bank of Siouxland since 2020. He has worked for the Food Bank for nearly 11 years. In his career at the Food Bank, Jacob has held many roles from Agency Relations to Transportation and Logistics. He has seen the Food Bank expand distribution from 1.6 million pounds to just over 3.5 million pounds of food distributed. Jacob is a Treasurer of the Iowa Food Bank Association and an active member of Rotary. He works in partnership with the Food Bank for the Heartland in Omaha. Further, the Food Bank works with over 100 agency partners and twice as many food donors. He attended Augustana University for a B.A. in History and earned a Master's in Public Administration from Hamline University.
