Description: West Des Moines Human Services assists low-income, elderly, and disabled residents in WDM and surrounding western suburbs. Services include food, personal care items, clothing, emergency rent & utility assistance, holiday assistance and youth scholarships to eligible households. The food pantry at West Des Moines Human Services is part of the DMARC food pantry network. Any household in need can visit one DMARC pantry location, once per month. For every visit, please bring photo IDs for adult household members & identification for children. How to Help: They always appreciate volunteers to help in the food pantry as well as donations of food & personal care items.
