River Bend Foodbank is the largest hunger relief organization in the Quad Cities and surrounding communities, having distributed over 19 million meals in 2019 to hungry people in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Their mission is to lead the community-wide effort to end hunger in Iowa and Illinois. They do this through food distribution in partnership with their 300 agencies as well as their Mobile Pantries, Senior Pantries, and Backpack Program. How to Help:

Iowans can support the activities of River Bend Foodbank through organizing Funds and Food drives, volunteering to sort food, pack Backpacks, assist at Mobile Food Pantries, and providing monetary support.
