SUMMARY
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the leading nutrition professionals, and hunger-fighting organizations will share the ongoing, collaborative efforts between the two groups to address the role food banks and pantries have in serving and promoting access to healthy food.
ACTION ITEMS
Participants will learn how to take action at your local food banks and pantries, how to work with an individual or organization on a shared goal such as improving access to and knowledge of nutrient-dense food, and how to support and share the outcomes from the ongoing efforts.
