Iowa Hunger Calendar

Please mark your calendars for the 6th Community Food Systems Annual Event on February 12, 2021! The 2021 event will focus on Retail and Leadership within Community Food Systems, with the goal of engaging, supporting, and inspiring individuals from all areas of the food system in conversation about community food systems. The event will take place at Reiman Gardens in Ames, Iowa. Additionally, we will offer two pre-conference workshops on February 11: Local Food Leader  and Iowa Retail Initiative Champions.

Interested in presenting at the event?

We are seeking proposals from presenters with a variety of presentation types available. Presentation proposals include title, abstract (100 words), broad description, and list of presenters. Submit your proposal here by October 16. Presenters will be notified by October 30.
 
We are currently anticipating an in-person event; however, due to COVID-19, this is subject to change in which a virtual one-day event via Zoom will be offered instead. Please look for an email in the coming months for updates. Thank you and we hope to see you at the event!
