Iowa Hunger Calendar

On Saturday April 6, 2019, the Solon High School Art Club will be hosting the Tenth Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon to End Hunger from 11am until 1pm in the Solon High School commons. Guests will be served a modest meal of home-made soup and bread in a ceramic bowl hand-made by a local student, educator or community member for a suggested donation of ten dollars. Guests are encouraged to keep their bowl at the end of their meal with our compliments and sincere gratitude. All money raised will be donated to the Johnson County Crisis Center Food Bank (Now CommUnity) and the Solon Food Pantry.
