THE IOWA HUNGER SUMMIT is held each year during the World Food Prize's week of events in October at the Des Moines Marriott Hotel Downtown. It kicks off the events, preceding the Norman E. This all day conference, which includes a special Hunger Luncheon, is free and open to the public. The program features speakers and special panel sessions with leaders and experts in confronting hunger, poverty and malnutrition, both at home and abroad.
