Are you interested in purchasing local food for your business? Are you currently purchasing local food but need more suppliers? Are you interested in selling your local food to wholesale markets? Join us for the annual Local Food Producer and Local Food Buyer Networking Event on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank (1605 Lafayette St., Waterloo).

This annual event gives local food producers and local food buyers the opportunity to meet and start conversations about products, growing practices, etc. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Producers: join us for networking with other producers and lunch following the Local Food Buyer/Producer Networking Event. You will also have the opportunity to hear from Tracy Blackmer, Iowa Gardening for Good, about his work growing produce for food banks and the possibility of bringing his model to our region of the state.

There is no cost to attend either events but RSVP required.
