Ashley Dyson
Former Intern, World Food Prize Foundation and Student Body President Emeritus, Drake University

Ashley Dyson is a recent graduate of Drake University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in May 2025 majoring in politics and history with minors in philosophy and human rights studies with a concentration in women and gender studies. Throughout her undergraduate experience at Drake, she held several internships including a position as a George Washington Carver Intern at the World Food Prize Foundation, a clerk at the Iowa House of Representatives and a Library Intern at the State Historical Society. Through her time working at the World Food Prize Foundation, Dyson became a committed advocate for fighting food insecurity on her own college campus. As Student Body President at Drake University during the past academic year, Ashley spent much of her time and efforts creating a food pantry available to Drake students.
