SUMMARY
Did you know that vulnerable children in developing countries can not attend school because they do not have a school uniform or anything to eat? Instead of going to school, they spend the day foraging for food and trying to survive. We have a solution that has been so successful that the children in our Outreach Program Children’s Centers in Tanzania, East Africa, have a pass rate of two-times the national average.
This session will illustrate the simple, yet powerful concept of the Children’s Centers, which serve as the connecting bridge between the most vulnerable children in the cities of Singida and Manyoni, Tanzanzia, by providing them the resources to attend the local government school. Outreach has created this model by engaging faith-based and community partnerships here in the United States to create awareness, action, and advocacy to provide nutritious food and a future for children in need.
